In an ever attempt to find work clothes, French fashion editor Carine Roitfeld has teamed up with Uniqlo to create an affordable womenswear collection inspired by her chic style. Carine Roitfeld‘s Uniqlo collab is launching on the 29th October and, despite her saying Uniqlo is “about basics: nothing too fashion” it is all over the fashion press such as Elle and New York Magazine and key fashion blogs like Fashionista.com.
The line of classic everyday pieces, features office-appropriate camis, tailored jackets, structured wool coats, cheetah-print faux fur outerwear, pencil skirts, patterned long-sleeve shirts and fishnet tights — all pieces inspired by the fashion editor.
Here, I have rounded up five pieces from the collection bringing together a chic look that would grace any boardroom, or power meeting in the city.
But, much like any high profile collaboration, all the Carine at Uniqlo clothing have been flying off the shelves and you will be the envy of the office if you are lucky enough find one of this clean, tailored chic.
