Now you know I can’t help but love a bargain and (without sounding full of myself!) proclaim to be a money saving mogul…………. and trust me the maths is good on this one.
If you have been living on planet mars and missed all of the press relating to this stunning Burberry cape where have you been?. The trusty poncho has an updated twist to it for 2014 and is currently doing the rounds with all of the biggie celebs.
Cue the Marks and Spencer version at a mere £45 compared to the Burberry £895, saving a huge £850…….. (that’s a whole holiday). The high street ensembe has all the makings of the Burberry effort – cosy, the colour-block element to it, cape styley, and autumnal… but at a fraction of the price. It’s a win win.
Olivia Palermo, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Cara Delevingne all have one of their very own but now, luckily for us, Burberry is giving everyone the chance to get in on the monogrammed poncho action; much to the disappointment of our bank
The British heritage brand has already rolled out the personalisation service on not just the cape but on their entire range of heritage scarves. For an additional cost of £200, up to three letters can be added onto the accessories. Well if you can afford £900 whats £200 extra.
Here is how my monogrammed poncho could look like (finances permitting)……..
Have you invested in a cape this season?
