My new… Tartan Dress

Sadly it’s that time of year when the temperatures drop. Fortunately it’s the perfect excuse to make use of a change in wardrobe attire namely tartan. Inspired by the diverse land and seascapes for which Scotland is famed. Tartan spirit blends those images into stunning contemporary fashion creations that celebrate Scotland’s other precious fabrics of tweed, cashmere and of course tartan.I have never been a massive fan of tartan but when I saw this dress from Dickins and Jones at House of Fraser. I was instantly smitten.

Tartan is always being reinvented over the catwalks and as ever the high street have caught on to and tartan finds are a plenty.

But, as I said, I went for the Dickins and Jones dress from the HoF. This dress looks great for work with black patent shoes but will look equally as cosy with a pair of black knee high boots for when the winter months fully set in. I absolutely LOVE this dress and I know it will continue to be a style saviour! It’s incredibly warm and is definitely a seasonal winner!
