My new… Double Coin Necklace

So I caved in and decided to make the leap and purchased a double coin necklace, well everyone is wearing them after all so not to miss out I decided to take the plunge to. I have searched high and low as there are some uber expensive ones around. Potentially the necklace could be a fad hence why I didn’t want to invest in a high priced necklace. Although they seem to be getting more popular with the high street now selling them. Let me tell you the search wasn’t that easy as many different places are already sold out.

Primark posted this pic on Instagram last week.

And are selling them for £1.50, unfortunately I couldn’t find one despite visiting 3 stores!!. It cost more than £1.50 in transport to get to the said Primark in question so I finally admitted defeat.

Sparkling Jewellery were one of the first stockists of coin jewellery the replica’s sell for £45 with the real ones going up to a whopping £950. and became a firm Celeb favourite. As seen on Sam Faiers, Holly Willoughby, Brooke Vincent, Nicola McLean and Zoe Hardman to name a few.

Minnie’s Boutique have a cheaper one at £29.00 but again sold out, as does Beaus Boutique. And Niclola Mclean of Celebrity Big Brother was seen leaving Aldo Zilli’s new Pizza Resturant in London with her husband Tom William’s. Nicola was wearing a gold plated  double disc necklace  which you can buy from Kissika at  www.whatsabouttown.com for £108.00

I saw that Miss Selfridge sold them and at the time of ordering it said the stock was low, having looked on the website today they are only selling the silver one. So now I feel even more lucky that I managed to secure the faux gold one.

Look what arrived today…

At £7.50 the price is bang on. I did worry that it would look cheap however I was pleasantly surprised when it didn’t. The chain fits perfectly on the neck. I am super happy with my purchase and for under £10 to coin a phrase definitely worth a purchase.
