The British Fashionista

The British Fashionista

On the 6th November 2013 the british fashionista was born!

The first 6 months since the arrival of The British Fashionista, and the pitter patter of tiny Jimmy Choos has totally literally flown by!! It’s been a huge learning curve for me (mainly because I am not really techi).  I wish I had done some research into blogging before just setting off and having a bash at it anyway but still, it’s been an amazing adventure.

I’ve just hit 8000 page views…This is A.MAZING and didn’t expect it to take off as much as it did. But that is a huge thank you to you all.

I really do love posting, even if I’m not able to post as often as I’d like…There’s this ‘little thing’ called ‘work’ in the city that keeps me busy!….. That said, all the fancy buttons at the bottom of this post and the tabs above give you other ways to follow my style antics, these only take a few seconds for me so, I do tend to post fairly regular on Pinterest/ Instagram/Twitter/WIWT!

If you haven’t already, you can also click to follow on Bloglovin’ too..

Please feel free to comment on my posts, I love to hear your thoughts! Shout outs on the various social media platforms are very much welcome, it’s so amazing to hear from readers as well so please continue to comment on the blog.  Another highlight was being selected as editors choice on wiwt which was both awesome and a fabulous surprise.

Editor’s Choice

I have had twitter dialogue with Diane Von Furstenburg and Tamara Mellon who asked me which pieces of her collection I liked best. OMG…….. I have been to London Fashion Weekend (you know you have made it to the fashion world when go there) and recently attended the Jean Paul Gaultier exhibition. I have been to the Design Museum to see Paul Smith and Somerset House to see Alexander McQueen. It has been such a ride, with being FROW at LFWend being one of the undoubted highlights.

Knowing people click on my blog to see what I have posted and just talking to people who ask for my fashion expertise makes me feel really emosh. (That’s emotional to those out of the essex region 😉 ).
ASOS follow me on twitter – totally stoked by that, now aspiring to be an asos insider in the future. #fingerscrossed

I hope you have enjoyed the first 6 months of The British Fashionista…I know I have and I can’t wait for the next 6!!!!

Thank you! And here’s to another great 6 months!cropped-cropped-cropped-cropped-cropped-20140215-153116.jpg @ASOS @WIWT @LondonFashionWk
