LFW #10 London Fashion Week

Monday: Neon Sweaters.

Finally the trends that all the #fbloggers have been pushing are appearing. Pastels are here, trainers are back, and so are Neons. On the way to the station I spotted this bright number. Love it!

Tuesday: Pastel Blazers

Along with Neon, another Spring/Summer trend predicted at the Fashion Weeks around the world was for pastels to return, and in particular pastel pink and blue. Spotted this week is the pastel pink blazer, but rather than regular length, the blazers are long like this beauty from Rag and Bone.

blazerAnd also this more accessible number in grey/blue from Missguided.

Wednesday: Lace

I feel like this week each day has been adding to the next. First we had pinks appearing as predicted, then pastels, and now the two are combining here with the lovely lace skirt from Red Herring at Debenhams.

Although it does not seem to be available online any more, this versatile skirt looks great with a plain white t-shirt and blazer, cream blouse with bejewelled collars, and even the trench coat seen later in the week. Also I am a big fan of this John Rocha lace skirt (also available at Debenhams), and very affordable too. Also, and you would have seen this in my Primania Post this week, that Primark offer a very similar lace skirt.

Thursday: Trench Coats

Trench coats are in again as the weather moves from cold to warm, with the chance of light showers. This is a great little post showing a few of the options out there, with my favourite spot being the Black Trim Mac from Wallis. I love the edging, and I like it even more in the slightly darker mustardy tan, rather than the normal sandy colour.

Friday: Hawes and Curtis Beige and Cream Signature Print Bowling Bag

You do not really list the City shirtmakers as trendy beyond the occasional Tommy Pink blouse, however, setting itself apart from the others is Hawes and Curtis with it’s signature print (very City with the H&C crest) range of bags. Their elegant Bowling bag with a leather trim and a sophisticated beige and cream check design printed on coated canvas is adorable and fits in well with the pastel trend. It has a spacious interior compartment which can be securely closed with a zip along the top. This is the perfect bag for transporting all your essentials in style. It is discounted too at the moment from a very reasonable £149 to £99.
