LFW #8 London Fashion Week

The City is under the weather, so to speak. Rain and wind have been lashing us and this week’s LFW recap shows that. Spring is in the distance, but until then, coats and hats are out.

Monday:  Colour Block Pleated Skirt: H&M available, if lucky, from eBay for £7. Colour blocking is everywhere from Coach’s new bags to coats and this skirt I saw by Fenchurch Street.

Tuesday: Mod style dovetail parka. The swallow or dovetail style is still seen everywhere in London at the moment. Harking back to Quadrophenia.

Wednesday: The Lulu Guinness Polka dot lips mini foldaway tote. £185 Lips are coming back with Prada offering up a lips dress (these are the bold prints I mentioned in my trends of 2014 post) and bag maker for the stars Lulu Guinness makes a tote that makes shopping all that much easier, as it folds away. I saw this on the train Friday and it is a must have.

Thursday: Oversized pom pom hats are everywhere thanks to the UK’s reluctance to let go of winter. This one I found on Etsy and I love it and this one from those lovely people at ASOS.

Friday: Cambridge Satchel Company Oversize satchel in biscuit brown. Ideal compliment to a camel coat. £299
