Monday – trench coats
Yes, they are back and a season late. The classic tan/sand coloured trench coat is making its way into our wardrobes thanks to global warming and a very mild winter. This fashionista will always go high end for such a classic piece, and therefore I would recommend a purchase from our good friends at Burberry a snip at £1295.
Tuesday – mono check trousers
I do like these. I own several pairs and will get more. The straight legged fashion at full length and capri length is in (although it’s getting cold so stay with the full length). These are only £15 from Dotty P’s and who can argue with a price tag like that?
Wednesday – Nude bags
I have seen lot of nude pink bags, normally paired with heels of the same colour and material (often patent leather). This week I have noticed a lot of the bags are ostrich skin, with my tip being the Aspinal of London Hepburn bag. Now, there is a pink variety, but they only carry the tan in ostrich and the pink/black saffiano.
Thursday – Nude Heels
I have seen a lot of nude heels. The London City girls are showing their love of both patent leather and the colour from many designers. My personal favourites are from Kurt Geiger, available from his store in Covent Garden and Selfridges for £195.
Friday – Bold scarves
It was been written many a time that the transition from A to W brings about radical changes. Well, the move from oxblood and Autumn colours to big and bold geometric patterns is pretty radical, so much so, the girls of London are just choosing key pieces to adopt, maybe a sweater, or a bag, or in the case of this week, scarves. Black with white polka dots has featured a lot, with this beauty from featured Net-a-Porter accessories designer Chan Luu over at Members Only shopping Club Creative Contrast. £140 ish over here.
