Monday Military Coats

Replacing the Zara applique studded sleeved coat, and the Zara camel coat with leather sleeves, it is the turn of military coats. A vast majority of those I have seen are in blue (the colour of the season) with the most choice being made in the style of Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson’s fresh faced vamp in the Twilight movies). The one in the montage is from Wallis and is down from £65 to £52 at the moment.

Tuesday Satchels

I have mentioned the Cambridge Satchel Company before. What a fab idea. I love the advert and the colours. The purple satchels are hard to miss as I make my way to work. And they should be on everyone’s Christmas list. Here is one from those good people at ASOS.

Wednesday Blue/Purple Suede Brogues

Having just bought a pair of red wine coloured brogues I am loving the style. Girl around town Agyness Deyn is responsible for these babies at Dr Marten and again, sold by those lovely people at ASOS.

Thursday Vivienne Westwood Orb Pumps

I shop at Daniel Footwear so am glad to promote here in conjunction with a trend I have spotted that combines the “in” colour of blue, the “in” shoe style of pump, and the “in” fabric style of mixing up leathers and wools, plastics and canvas. Here Ms Westwood has created a monster. The Orb pumps look amazing and are plastic. They look like those silicone oven mitts. And they look FAB!

Friday Felt Hats

I have seen many a woolly hat with over-sized or fur pompoms but something that is starting to appear across the square mile are felt hats, fedoras, taking the en vogue colours of blue and purple, or even combining them with accents of one colour or the other. A girl on the platform today wore a blue one (trending) with a purple bow (fashion plus points). Hats do not suit me really, but these I love. Here is one for a tasty sum of £30 from Cooshti.
