K Loves : Heels

Hello, all you lovely fashionistas, and welcome to K loves, a new segment of the blog where I write about things I love, all things fashion of course. This week’s theme:  high heels (Drool!) and I have selected these four beauties that combine high street and a high end look.

K Loves Heels: Clockwise from top left: Aldo, Primark, Zara, Kate Kuba

Personally I can’t stretch to Christian Louboutin heels (£400), so, when looking for something that looks as stylish, as swish-swish, then these black patent leather shoes from Aldo are a great alternative. They are very comfortable and last (literally) forever. Trust me, in a million years time, in a museum of the future, there will be an exhibit dedicated to them.

Moving on and Primark has officially become my new favourite shoe hot spot (hot shoe spot?) on the UK high street. They have upped the ante with these double-strap, leopard print and purple heels. The double strap gives your ankles plenty of support so am loving the practical element with the style aspect of these shoes. They were released as part of the AW13 collection. I first saw them in Look magazine and absolutely adored them. Apart from also loving leopard print which is, as we know, the new black, the gorgeous shape of these reminds me of an expensive Zara equivalent. And, of course, these Primark beauty’s have a much gentler price tag of £24.

Shoe 3, and we are allowed to talk Zara. I LOVE Zara. I was there the other day sizing up my winter coat. And their shoes are gorgeous and very en trend (Zara us often seen on Rosie Fortescue from Made in Chelsea).  And what a bargain at £29.99 for ultimate shoe glamour.

And finally (sniff-sniff, tears and sadness) the final shoe is from Kate Kuba and are no longer available. Which is a shame as they have been my most favoured pair of shoes for as long as I can remember, they are comfortable, chic and yet never date.  I bought the same pair in green suede as well so please Kate Kuba, can you bring them back for SS14?

PS. Since I know you really want to see them, here are those Christian Louboutin heels (Shhh, don’t tell anyone)
