Yellow Fever

You can imagine my delight when I saw these fancy flats in HM… If you’re on insta then these probably won’t be new to you… They’ve been a popular buy with the fashion squad and I can now see why! IMG_5261I would say more orange than yellow (kinda, sort of)….fullsizeoutput_16c2

So this Zara coat sold out last year! Thanks internet. For those who hoped to get their hands on this beauty last year but missed out, fear not as it has been updated and restocked for this year to.

Paying homage to this IT coat, it even has its only Instagram page. It all started when London-based blogger Alice Bray noticed a woman wearing the exact same coat she was wearing at the time.

Available to buy in blue and in red.

Woman photo bombing 😉

Although I have spied this gingham coat to.   Agggghhh decisions!

So am taking to Insta as I am not sure which one I prefer!?If you wanna’ grab either of these coats, go quickly! In typical Zara frenzy  I know they will sell out super fast!!! and then you’ll be forced to pay extortionate prices on ebay – eeeek! With Love From K x

New Mules

Swear down, I’ve been retweeting Dorothy Perkins #TuesdayShoesday for what seems like an eternity.

So when I received this message from the lovely DP peeps I was beyond excited, my weekly Tuesday retweets were not just in vain.

True to form they arrived a few days later.

I have been after a simple pair of block heeled mules.

From a sizing point of view mules are not true to size however these are exception to the rule as they are incredible and insanely comfy.

They tick the trend box aka pink and of course are slightly special as I won them.  #gome

Also available in blue and in black

I predict these are going to get A LOT of wear with everything from jeans to a denim dress and of course summer attire – Keep an eye out over on Instagram for them over the coming weeks.

Hoping you are all having a lovely “sunny” Saturday.

Keely xx

Backless Loafers RI my new BFF’s

Thanks to the Gucci trend, backless loafers are a go go.

Backless Loafers/Mules/Slippers/ whatever you call them, they trended last year (and possibly a fair few years ago to) and are back with a vengeance for Spring/Summer17.  I wanted to see if they were just a “fad” for last year but NO, still doing the rounds on insta, I managed to bag a pair from Depop (which I might add is a great alternative to ebay), hashtagyourwelcome.

Comfort rating – 10/ On trend – 10 /Colour – 10 / Fit – 9/ Style – 7,  am I 100% sold on them – jury is still out on that one.

They are such a great shoe for this in between weather, with jeans, dungarees, trews- the possibilities are endless, so I reckon my cost per wear is going to be on point.

Sadly no longer on the website as they are last seasons but check out the latest offerings from River Island here.

For now they are a keeper.

Happy Tuesday

I’ve always wished for a wardrobe of fabulous cashmere classic knits. The wardrobe staples that stand the test of time, made from the softest, warmest and most luxurious wool. Unfortunately in reality the budget doesn’t quite stretch that far, but alas fear not, J Crew have an offering of merino wool in the form of this gorgeous Tippi Sweater which I just had to road test.

Yep I wasn’t disappointed……… I ordered a small and should have gone up one as the fabric isn’t that generous. That said I still love the sweater.
It comes in a variety of colours to but I think the black looks great with leopard print, whether that be a shirt or a skirt.
Buy the J Crew Tippi here
I have always opted for less expensive lambswool or merino knits (uniqlo and gap do the finest on the highstreet btw – your welcome!) especially if your budget doesn’t quite permit.
So the verdict!!!!! Cashmere is so over-rated dahling.
Happy Monday
